Anwar: 200 PPSU Personnel on Standby Under Becakayu Toll Road Every Day

This area can be used by residents for healthy walks and jogging

As many as 200 PPSU personnel are deployed every day for revitalizing and greening under the Becakayu Toll Road, Jalan Laksamana Malahayati, East Jakarta. They are from Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit, Cipinang Melayu, and Kebon Pala urban villages.

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar said the area under the five-kilometer Becakayu Toll Road must be maintained, cared for, and managed, thus it remains green and beautiful and not misused by unauthorized parties.

"The area under the Becakayu Toll Road must be revitalized. If not, it will be used by unauthorized parties," he stated, under Becakayu Toll Road, Tuesday (1/10).

According to him, this area would continue to be green and sanitized from illegal parking, illegal huts, street vendors, and so forth.

"This area can be used by residents for healthy walks and jogging. Even if there are vegetables or fruits, the results can be enjoyed by residents. Please take the results," he continued.

He added that the area would be supervised jointly by the ranks of the Jakarta administration, PT KKDM, and PT Jasa Tirta. It was done to make it more beautiful by planting will be carried out regularly every Friday and Sunday

"We also urge locals to take care of this area," he stated.
